Christmas comes

Even where the snow doesn’t
cover the trees
And Santa doesn’t really freeze
But likes to go Ho Ho Ho
Tho’ mum doesn’t kiss him
under the mistletoe
Christmas comes!

It may bring pressies, carols or cheer
And it’s all getting a wee bit dear
Jingling bells, jingling hearts
Dosas, rosgollas, puddings, tarts
Red nosed elephant, or reindeer…
If it’s this time of the year
Christmas comes!

If you reside on planet earth
For whatever it may be worth
Forgive, forget, refresh, reboot
Evaporate all fear
Cos you know it’ll soon be
a Happy New Year…
when Christmas comes!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas
and a marvellous New Year.
