Yes, there is a creative spark in every human being, but only the fortunate are able to realize it and make use of it. I'd request every person reading this to spend some time trying to 'realize' that creative spark within him and to bring it out, even if that means shouting at himself in front of a crowd or meditating in the loo!
A quote that really keeps me going by Mark Van Doren goes hence, "Bring ideas in and entertain them royally, for one of them may be the king."
Only with a good amount of practice and sufficient luck, can those 'great accidents' happen which you later term as 'miracles'.
My best cartoons have come when I have scribbled ideas and doodles sitting in the comfort, calmness and tranquility of the loo!
Creativity exists, probably in equal proportions in the minds of every Homo sapiens. But its future depends on how one enhances and propagates it.
Sadly, a lot of individuals with creative potential choose mere existence over creative satisfaction, and allow their gift to die out.
